There are no real drawbacks and all the need to do to the randomizer seed if you really needed it is allow 2 variants. Ironically this also hard limits GPU's because it cannot send 圆4 bit threading basically the only benefit to not using 圆4 is none. Right now it can only use 2 CPU's and 2 threads max because of configuration this is also inflicting artificial limits to how many rooms per floor. As long as the Lua is codded correctly it will have no limit and stronger CPU's could have no stutter game-play because even if your whole screen was filled with explosions your CPU could easily bare the load. Think of it this way - everything you can now but 1000 times less restrained. You do realize the game as an engine has a 4GB ram limit and a very hard generation limit due to being x86 right? By changing the engine to full 圆4 slowdown would be almost nil computations would fail at least by 1/2 less and multiplayer would be more accessible and it would allow for mods such as separate view ports because the engine would not be strained. ![]()
